After recording 2 EPs with legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer (Hendrix/Zeppelin/Bowie) in 2012 we hit the road in 2013 and toured the USA for the first time. We had a bunch of new songs to work out and our favorite way is during live shows. Met a lot of great people along the way. We self produced this 12 song studio album in 2013 and 2014 at Reef Music Studios Los Angeles. Mixed and produced by Olio.

We were thrilled to work with legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer (Hendrix, Zeppelin, Bowie) on our song "Hello / Goodbye". He selected Olio to record in the studios at LMU for their music producing program. We had a great time and we were all so happy with the results we ended up working with Eddie on 3 more songs for this EP. We recorded at EastWest Studios and The Mothership. Mixed at LAFX. Arif Hodzic – vocals, guitars, keys; DeHaven Carrington – vocals, drums, percussion; Kelley Hill – bass, vocals, percussion. Produced by Eddie Kramer for Remark Music Ltd. Living The Dream

This self produced 11 song album marks the first recording with bassist Matt Sherrell from Chicago. It was recorded in 2007- 2009 at Reef Music Studios Los Angeles. The songs are dynamic ranging from the nylon stringed sweetness of “Completely Beautiful” about the profound impact of becoming a parent (received an Honorable Mention Award in the 2008 West Coast Songwriters International Competition) to a hard rock/rap collab that had 20,000 NJ Devils fans shouting “Here We Go” at the Prudential Center. Their homage to the mamacita de futbol aka “Soccer Mom” inspired one impassioned UK critic to call them “sexist and subtle as a sledghammer.” (Olio still thinks Benny Hill, John Cleese and Ricky Gervais are funny) The sound created is rich and packs a punch reminiscent of the John Mayer Trio while thematically aiming for Stevie Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life.”

Arif Hodzic – vocals, guitars, keyboards; DeHaven Carrington – drums and vocals; Matt Sherrell – bass and vocals. Special guests: Andre Bentley – keyboards; Debbie Dee – background vocals. Produced and mixed by Olio. Mastered by Damon Tedesco. Released 6/23/2009 on AD4 Records.

Colour of Music

Arif Hodzic – vocals, guitars, keyboards; DeHaven Carrington – vocals, acoustic and electronic drums. Additional musicians: Alex Evans – bass; Debbie Dee Morris – background vocals; Michael Bartel – keyboards; Branko Hodzic – lap steel; Beth Aranda – background vocals; Matisse – background vocals.
